Anthem Nevada 2020

Anthem Insurance for the New Year

Anthem Nevada 2020

As we approach the end of 2019, we will once again see changes to next year with regards to health insurance. Health insurance Nevada options are in a constant state of change with new carriers, providers, and regulations. Speaking with a health insurance broker is a great way to stay on top of the best deal. Our office is constantly searching for improved options at a lower cost for our clients. Below is a brief summary for Anthem Nevada 2020 plans.

Medicare

Anthem provides both Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans to those that are eligible. They currently provide some of the best dental and vision additions for those enrolling in an Anthem Supplemental option. They also provide HMO and PPO advantage plan options with premiums as low as $0. If a supplemental plan is too expensive, advantage plans can be a great way to go.

Group Coverage

Anthem will continue to provide coverage options for business in Nevada. Often employers have some employees that live in different states and work remotely. Anthem Nevada 2020 plans will continue to provide nationwide coverage for small businesses. Therefore, this can be a great choice for employers who aren’t large enough to have a national network with other carriers. In addition, have has some of the lowest costing gold PPO options. There were rumors that Anthem and Renown (a very large network of providers here in Northern Nevada) were ending their contracts with each other, but both companies have come to an agreement and Renown will continue to have in-network providers with Anthem plans.

Individual Coverage

Anthem has returned to the individual market. They are the only new company to do so this year and now brings the total number of carriers for individuals up to four. The plans will all be HMO options besides one PPO. These plans will also be offered on the health insurance exchange and will be another choice besides Health Plan of Nevada and Ambetter. The individual plans will be using the “Pathway X” network for doctors.
