These are here locally, in the Reno/ Carson City area. Generally, Prominence Health Plans works with St. Mary’s and Northern Nevada Medical Center. Senior Care Plus works with facilities and doctors in the Renown network. Both plans contract with Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City.

Both Prominence and Senior Care Plus have prescription drug plan benefits. The drug benefits are part of the medical benefits. While investigating new plan options, it will be a good idea to review the current list of covered drugs. This is so you can make sure that your insurance company covers the drug you need.
