They are one of the biggest local insurance companies in Nevada. They are owned by Renown and that means you get access to all of Renown’s doctors in the area. Renown is also home to the areas largest trauma center. Hometown Health in 2021 is going to provide consumers with plenty of options for their health needs. There are a few ways to sign up for Hometown Health in 2021.
Individual and Family Plans with Hometown Health in 2021
Open enrollment is coming soon and that is when you can start looking at plans for 2021. You will be able to sign up for Hometown Health starting November 1st through December 15th. Open enrollment is the time where people can switch companies, switch plans, and are able to shop around for the best insurance for their needs. Each year during this time people do not need to have a qualifying life even in order to sign up. A qualifying life event is what enables someone to sign up in an individual plan outside of open enrollment.
Employer Plan
The second option for enrolling in Hometown Health in 2021 is through an employer sponsored plan. If your employer offers benefits through work then this is one of their options in 2021. Hometown offers access to all of Renown’s doctors in the area and they also partner with Carson Tahoe Medical group for those in the Carson City area. Hometown offers a wide range of products in the group market. They offer HMO plans as well as PPO plans. They also offer Association Health Plans. Medicare
Hometown Health also offers Medicare part C, or Medicare Advantage plans. As long as you are enrolled in Parts A and B of Medicare then you will be eligible for Medicare Advantage plans.
