Pinnacle Medical Group
There is a new medical group in 2021. Pinnacle Medical Group opens up in the Reno/Sparks area. That means that Doctors are switching to the new Pinnacle Medical Group. Pinnacle Medical Group just started accepting new patients at their locations across the valley. With a new group, means doctors will be switching from one hospital to another.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Kristin Astrom comes over from St Mary’s Medical Group with seven years of experience. She will be practicing family medicine at the new location on south Los Altos Parkway in Sparks. She graduated from the college of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University and competed her residency with St Joseph Health Center in Warren, OH.
Another doctor that is coming over from the St Mary’s Medical Group is Dr. Jessica Curti. Dr. Curti will be at the McCabe Drive location and will be practicing family medicine. She graduated from UC Davis in 2011 and was previously with St Mary’s Medical Group. Dr. Curti has ten years of experience that she brings with her.
Dr. John Hess is also coming over from the St Mary’s Medical Group. He is bringing 23 years of experience with him to Pinnacle. Dr. Hess graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Hess completed his residency at the Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA.
What Insurance do They Take?
As of right now the only insurance that has been confirmed is Prominence Health Plan. If you are currently a Prominence Medicare member then you do not have to worry about your insurance not being taken when going to see a doctor.
