As if that wasn’t good enough, the Renown Heart Program was also named “Top in Nevada” for the third year in a row, it was ranked as the #1 heart center in Nevada by U.S. News & World Report, and it continues to hold the HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence, accredited for chest pain, heart failure, and transcatheter valve care.

Renown Heart Program Is World “Renowned”
What makes the Renown Heart Program so good? It’s their dedication to high-quality service for their patients. The Renown Institute currently serves over 69,000 patients annually across the Mountain West, covering 11 cardiovascular specialties with more than 50 specialists, providing care in areas like electrophysiology, heart failure management, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Renown also performs advanced procedures that other healthcare providers don’t. For example, their structural heart team has performed approximately 130 transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures, which well exceeds the national average. They’re also the ONLY comprehensive stroke center in Northern Nevada.
Thanks to a grant from the Helmsley Charitable Trust, Renown was also the first provider in the Northern Nevada region to launch an ECMO program, allowing critically ill patients to stay local rather than being transported out of state. Not only did this program help patients avoid taxing travel, but it also helped their families by keeping loved ones close to home.
