What Is the Most Common Issue With These Lists?
Nevada has a very low ratio of doctors to total population when compared with the rest of the country. While provider lists are expanding rapidly and new hospitals are being constructed, this growth cannot keep up with the growth of people moving here. Therefore, many doctors simply cannot take on any more patients. Even though your doctor does accept your insurance and is listed on the provider list, that does not mean that they have availability. If this is the case, you will have to establish yourself with another provider.
